For-Sight’s Customer Success Team Welcomes a New Member!

Say Hello to Darragh!

Meet your new Customer Success Associate, Darragh Barr! He’s already making a splash with For-Sight customers, but we wanted to let you get to know the man a little better and see how he fits in with the For-Sight team.

But first, what does a Customer Success Associate do?

With For-Sight, we don’t just sell Hotel CRM software and leave you to figure it out yourself. Our Customer Success team is here to support you and your team with account setup, training sessions and educational resources so that you have the tools and know-how to get the most out of the For-Sight platform!

We also offer email marketing campaign management to clients who need a helping hand!

So, how is Darragh able to lend you a helping hand? Read on to find out!

Darragh’s Background

Darragh’s hard work in a prior role earned him an all-expenses-paid trip to South Africa!

Darragh grew up in Greenock on the west coast of Scotland. He studied marketing at the University of Stirling before spending five years working in the recruitment sector.

Darragh’s experience in recruitment means that he knows how to think on his feet, be a team leader, and work under tight deadlines. It has also given him experience with account and stakeholder management, which Darragh says are vital to his role on the Customer Success team and what attracted him to the role in the first place.

Now we know a bit more about Darragh’s past five years, we wanted to know what the next five years look like for Darragh. Here’s what he had to say:

“I would like to progress back into a leadership role and truly become an expert on all systems I use and a knowledgeable consultant for all my customers .”

He’s on track to become an expert at For-Sight! In the short time he’s been with For-Sight, Darragh has shown that he’s here to put the work in. Our Manager of Customer Success, Josephine Harrold, has commended him for his initiative and can-do attitude. She says Darragh’s hard work has “been appreciated by both colleagues and customers alike”.

We asked Darragh what he values in the workplace and how the For-Sight team can best support him, and here’s what he had to say:

“In the workplace, I like for everyone’s opinion to be heard and have a clear progression framework from the outset. I think the manager and colleagues should let you know what is expected from you, but also be there to lend a hand when needed to get you to the next level.” 

This closely reflects For-Sight’s core values of collaboration and ambition. As a small team, we aim to support and uplift one another, working together with a unified mission. We also provide the tools and opportunities for our team members to grow and develop professionally. For-Sight also values integrity, passion, and fun; all values that we see highlighted in Darragh!

 

Personal Life

Darragh loves the sea and golfing!

Darragh loves everything outdoors! Some of his favourite activities include fishing, kayaking, and building a campfire. He’s also quite sporty, having played rugby since he was four years old. More recently, he’s taken up golf and is working on improving his game. If you have a chat with Darragh, he’d love some pointers!

If you need some tips about cooking, though, Darragh is here to help! He calls himself quite the chef, and we’ll all be flocking to him for cooking advice.

We asked Darragh if there were any new skills he’d like to learn. He said he’d like to learn to play the guitar.

What is one interesting fact about you that not many people know?

“I have been an extra in a few TV shows (Outlander, Behind Her Eyes) and 2 Bollywood movies.”

What is your favourite way to unwind after a long day?

“Sit outside with a nice dinner and a few beers round a fire.”

If you could visit any place in the world, where would it be and why?

“Australia – just think it fits the lifestyle I would like to lead, with the outdoor living and the warm water.”
